Guest guest
Hi everyone, My name is Jasmyn. I am 26 and live in Canada. My hubby and I started WW this past Monday. I am anxious to really get involved in making my life, body, etc. a better one. I will try to post as often as I can, but because I work shift work (as a Nursing Aid) it may be difficult. I am curious about a few things. I once heard someone say that if you work out for a certain period of time, it can equal extra points. Is this true? If so, how do they relate? Jasmyn Ie. If I walk for 30 minutes, does that somehow equal points?
Guest guest
Hi Jasmyn. Welcome to the group. There are activity points given depending on your level of exercise. For instance, I ride a stationary bike, and if I work out at the high end for 50 minutes, it equals 4 points. But, that means I'm huffing and puffing, and my heart rate is at the high end for aerobic conditioning. When I first started out, I perceived my level to be slow to medium, and only for 30 minutes and it equaled 2 points. If you use the activity points, they should be used the day you earned them. I try not to use these points, simply because I show better weight loss when I don't. But some say that when they hit a plateau, if they start eating their activity points the plateau goes away. The new " Core Plan " is a little different, because you add the points to the " points pad " and it adds to your 35 weekly points. Confusing? Well, perhaps you will get a better response. I feel like I'm rambling now. Again, welcome to the group. I just got back from visiting Canada. We camped in Hope, but realized we were quite a ways from Vancouver, which was what we were visiting. So we moved a bit closer. Hope is beautiful! Vancouver is BUSY! New to WW Hi everyone, My name is Jasmyn. I am 26 and live in Canada. My hubby and I started WW this past Monday.
