I'd be concerned too and for the same reasons. Personally, I'd cast

since your particular location will be brand new the scanning

process so I would think there could be a difference until they get

into the groove of what they are doing.

,

We are going through CT right now and couldn't be happier with them.

Where are you located? A number of Cranial Technologies thoughout

the coutnry have already been using the new scanning process, it is

just taking more time to get to each location. So, CT is not new to

it the lcoation you are going just might be new-does that make

sense? We did the casting process for his initial molding, but by

his exit casting the CHicago location will have the new scanners as

well-which I am excited about!

Good Luck.

My son was recently scanned at CT. The scanning process itself went

great and was quick and easy, although we had to drive to a different

CT site that was over 2 hours away as the site closest to our house

is under construction and does not yet have the scanning equipment.

He received the band last Wed, and unfortunately it does not fit

properly. He wore it all night the first night (and slept HORRIBLY!)

and woke up with some bad red spots that did not fade. (He actually

still has one!) They are now making us a new band and we will try

again this Wed. I have heard the casting process is not fun, though.
