Guest guest
Laurie, You did great with the silent auction. Thank you for all of your hard work in putting it together. You had lovely things. I know UMDF was excited to receive the donation. I enjoyed meeting and talking with you at the conference. Guest guest
That was a great donation from the Mitoldies. I want personally thank Laurie for all her hard work which has been ongoing since the last conference. I know that people enjoyed the silent auction in Dallas and I'm sure they did in Pittsburgh as well. Thanks to all who contributed to the auction as well. Laurie - if you would like to list what is left when you are rested, maybe we can have our own silent auction here on MO. We could put pictures in the photos and perhaps sell the rest but that might be too much work for you with school just around the corner. I was just thinking of our own little E Bay. I'm so glad that everyone is home safely and resting. Alice Re: conf >> >>Laurie, >>You did great with the silent auction. Thank you for all of your hard >>work in putting it together. Guest guest
Alice I was planning to make a list of the items to post later in the week. I can also take pictures to post. and Christie ('s 14 year old daughter) and " bug " were a great help at the table. We couldn't have done it without Christie. She came up with good ideas and decisions and had us well organized. She ran the table herself when and I were in sessions that she found too technical. I think it would please Christie if we thanked her as individuals. I'm sure that would pass them along to her. I want to thank those who helped out. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Mon, 9 Aug 2004 10:27:19 -0600 > To: > > Subject: Re: conf > > That was a great donation from the Mitoldies. Guest guest
Christie, I want to personally thank you for all you did to help at the Mitoldies Silent Auction. I think back at the little girl I met in St Louis a few years ago and it's hard to believe you have grown to a young woman with so much enthusiasm. While some of us are getting older those younger people who were at that gathering in St Louis I believe 99 have become leaders. I see this happening with Jenevra too and think very often of how much the next generation has to offer the Mito community. Thank you so much for all you did to help your mom and your Aunt Laurie, the Mitoldies and the UMDF. Maybe I'll see you in St Louis again. . I didn't mean to leave either of you out. I am positive that you were a huge part of keeping things going at the table. I remember how hard you worked at our table in Dallas. Thank you for all you did. I know it wasn't easy. You're always there when we need you and have a way of making things happen so easily. I'm sure you are very tired today but when you are able, I'd love to hear your comments about the conference.
