Guest guest
Hey, this sounds like it was a pleasant surprise by the tone in your voice. Blue is good, we even had a dog named Blue. Te he! Good luck with the insurance, and here is hoping there are NO hiccups in getting it. I sure wish we could do wheelchair races again lady!! Well - to my surprise - the therapist feels that it would be too costly to upgrade my current chair to meet my present needs so he has recommended a new chair for me. The chair he ordered will have a power tilt and seat elevator and a new seating system. We are not sure that the seat elevator will be approved by my insurance but he feels it's what I need to be able to reach things in my home and even in the stores. His recommendation is a Jazzy again - which I question a little - but I'll go with his recommendation. At least this time, I got to pick the color. I decided on blue which is my favorite color. The last time I had no choice and had to get champagne. > >So there's my news. Now let's see what insurance has to say. The chair - once approved - will take 8 to 10 weeks to arrive. I am thinking I may have a Christmas present on the way. > >Alice > >
Guest guest
Hi Alice, What nice news!! Well, you know what I mean. I have a scooter and it is red, but blue is my favorite color. I thought with the red that my husband would be able to find me in a crowd alot easier My insurance paid for my elevated seat. The wheelchair therapist noted on the paper that due to my short height that I need this upgrade in order to get things off the shelves at the stores and to be able to reach inside my cabinets at home. They approved it. I hope your insurance approves your wheelchair therapists recommendations. I am glad you were able to pick out your own color this time. And it should be ready in time for Christmas!!! Enjoy your new chair with all the new added features that will come with it.:-) Hugs, Ann-Marie
Guest guest
Alice Great news. My Jazzy is blue and I love it. We will have to find a way to let our chairs meet some day. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Tue, 28 Sep 2004 17:46:48 -0600 > To: " " > > Subject: Hmmmmm... Guest guest
How fun Alice! Hope everything falls into place and that insurance will cover it 100%. My Quickie 2 is blue opal I think. It's really pretty.
