Suzie - I " m so glad to hear you found it easy to stay OP in Savannah. I

didn't know what to expect food-wise. I keep picturing all the super rich

delicacies like I found in New Orleans, where even the seafood dishes were

fattening LOL! I'm glad to hear I can find Ruby Tuesdays and Applebees too -

the kids love those places and I can still eat better than fast food. Cool.

Thanks again

<>Hi - I actually live in Savannah! If you are staying at the Extended

Stay on Abercorn, Publix is right across the street and has a really nice

variety of OP items. <>

Hi Aliya! How neat that you live in Savannah - I hear its a beautiful city

and we are SO looking forward to visiting. Although WHY we picked one of the

hottest months of the year to visit is beyond me - what were we thinking??!!

LOL!

Yes we are staying at the Extended Stay on Abercorn (you haven't heard bad

things about the place or anything have you? That's always my fear!) How nice

that the Publix is across the street - that will be very helpful and cut down on

what I need to bring.

<>Have a great time, and don't hesitate to ask any questions about Savannah -

hopefully I can answer them!<>

Thanks! If you have any suggestions for sites we MUST see or restaurants etc.

that we can't miss I would love to hear! None of us have ever been there

before.

I do have one silly sounding question. We will be going to the beach on Tybee

Island one of the days. Is the shore and shallow waters more sand or more

rock/shell? I am debating whether or not I should buy water shoes for the girls

since the last beach we went to was very rocky and it hurt the feet to wade out.

Take care and thanks again!
