Guest guest
I hated having to change clothes and put on shoes just to do excercise, it seemed like a waste of my time. Now I really enjoy my walk away the pounds videos because I can wear anything I want and not wear shoes. I also going fo walks outside with my husband and daughter when it is not so hot. 262/249/

I can remember a few years ago when a few of us went hiking, and the entire time I thought I was going to DIE. I felt so out of shape. Now, I'm usually the one LEADING the group! Also, trying on clothes. Used to hate it, now I enjoy it. April
Guest guest
Oooh, this is a good question! I used to hate walking. I mean walking, as in from my car to the store, if it was farther than the first and closest parking spot! Now I intentionally park way far out there so I can walk! Also, I love what April said . . .trying on clothes. Oh my stars did I hate that. Now it's FUN! I love being able to walk into the normal-size clothing department and to find that a Large fits great, and sometimes even a Medium slips on! I love WW. Guest guest
Definitely, journaling food. I thought I'd never be able to do that on a long term basis. But with the convenience of WW points and my palm pilot and software which will remain unnamed (*wink wink*), journalling is easy, I've always got my journal with me and I realize that the ONLY way I'm going to control my weight is to continue journalling for the rest of my life. I have journaled daily since Oct 5, 2002. Sue ----- Original Message ----- > What activities did you dread to take part in before going on program? Has being on program changed this in any way? Guest guest
The reason that ruined a lot of feet is because people were wearing shoes all the time and then taking them off to exercise. Shoes actually cause the muscles in your feet to atrophy or be underdeveloped. People who never wear shoes or only wear them occasionally have very developed muscles in their feet, so they can exercise barefoot without consequence. Kind of like if you only excercise once a month is very dangerous. So if you always wear shoes except to exercise then you will damage your feet. This is not a problem for me because I rarely wear shoes. I use to do cross country running (won many first places) when I was younger and fitter, but now I don't want to run along the road or in front of other people for fear of looking stupid. My main goal is to be able to run a marathon next year. Better get over these fears quick smart! I'm sure once the weight starts to come off I will be fine with it all.
