Hi and Welcome ! This is a great group of people. I hope this group

is a great encouragement to you.

I wanted to echo what Teres said...take pictures of yourself as you are

losing weight. I wear the same clothes (and will until they are

literally falling off me!) and pose the same way each time. I can really

see the difference! It's a BIG motivator!

Hi everyone,

I started WW almost 3 weeks ago, I did weigh 262 now I weigh

249. I am hoping to get the support I need to get down to my goal of

140. I have been overwieght since I was 11 years old, so I don't

even know what I look like thin. My husband has already noticed a

difference and he says he can't wait until I get thin, he is a

wonderful engouragement for me. My 9 month old daughter is my

inspiration, I don't want her to ever know me as her " fat " mommy and

I want to be able to play as har as she does. My mother was

seriously obese my entire childhood so I know what that feels like

and I don't want my daughter to feel that way or end up overweight

herself. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Hi . Welcome. I am new, also, and have been with the group only a few

weeks, but they are great. I have a long way to go before I reach goal, but have

my mind made up, that if I bite it,I write it, and so far it has worked, and I

have lost 23 pounds, since March 1, 2004.

This is a great group of people dedicated to helping each other, and making it

to goal, also. Again, welcome...I'll look forward to your posts. Pat from K.C.

Hi All...I am sorry...I meant , instead of ...to send a welcome to.

On my last message to , but meant, , I want to add something that

really helped me a lot is taking my measurements early on. Because when you are

not losing pounds, you are losing inches. It was quite a surprise for me to see

the inches I has lost, when I was at a plateau recently. Hope this will help in

your journey. Best of luck, . Pat from K.C.
