Guest guest
Kellee, my son was the same way his first couple nights in his band. Without teh badn he would go to sleep like a little angle, but then with the band he screamed:( I can't lie we broke down the first 2 nights and took it off of him thinking it was hurting him. But once I figured it out that he wasn't in pain (he wore it all day and never cried once until sleep time) we had to let him cry it out. It really sucks to have to let them cry, but its something new and they have to adjust to it. By the 4th night he slept right through like usual, so be patient and strong for your little one! A few sleepless nights is so worth the results you will see in not time. Good luck, > > Does anyone have any advice for our first night in the band? Guest guest
We had our first night with our daughter in her helmet last night as well and it was not good. Took about an hour or so to get her to go to sleep and she must have woken up at least 20 times. Hoping she will get used to it quickly. Did it get any better for you? > > Does anyone have any advice for our first night in the band? The baby > is screaming right now, doesn't usually cry when we put him to bed. Guest guest
Last night was a little better for our little guy. Basically he woke up every 2 hours. I kept the band on, though. He slept fine during naps at the sitter with the band on, so I figure, he will just have to get used to it at night. I hope each night gets better and better. By the way, my little guy has never slept thru the night, so I doubt he will in the band. Prior to the band he was getting up 1-2 times per night to eat. Let me know how your second night goes. > > > > Does anyone have any advice for our first night in the band? Guest guest
The second night was actually worse than the first but she's also come down with some sort of virus so I took it off half way through the night when she just became hysterical. Last night I actually swaddled her which I haven't done in a couple of months and she slept through the entire night without a peep. I did it again tonight and so far no issues. > > > > > > Does anyone have any advice for our first night in the band?
