Guest guest
For dinner this evening, we're making up a mushroom/barley/rice/carrot dish that came over one of the veggie groups I'm on. (Don't ask me which -- I'm on too many to keep track!) It's a crockpot dish and, IIRC, I posted it here a few weeks back. It's about 2 hours into the cooking run and the house smells pretty good so.... Since it includes both rice and barley, I'd hope it's a foregone conclusion this is a Phase 2 recipe. ******************************************************************* Crockpot Barley With Mushrooms And Green Onions Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Grains And Cereals Main Dish MWLP Acceptable Soups & Stews Vegetarian Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup Brown rice 1 cup Barley 6 Carrots -- chunked small 1/2 pound mushrooms -- chopped 1/2 teaspoon garlic -- spice blend, or granules 4 cups Water 1/2 cup green onions -- chopped soy sauce, low sodium -- or Bragg's Aminos to taste 1.
