Guest guest
Oh my! Geoff in a girdle. Now that's an image I will have to ponder. Face life or abdominoplasty should have read face lift or abdominoplasty. I suppose you all figured that out. Freudian? Good idea Janet: I will try alcohol. The water sips didn't work. As a matter of fact they made me barf. Fortunately this guy is very understanding. I should keep him around just for that. How many guys would put up with " excuse me I have to throw up before I go to bed with you. " ? There are some before and after abdominoplasties on plastic surgery web sites that I have seen before. You have to have a prescription for it. Dr. Fox offered it to me and I was thinking of calling today to ask him to call in a prescription. The stuff is really expensive. Alka Seltzer worked a bit but since I threw up before I took it I am not sure if it will work again. I am looking for the cheap way out. Yes, they joys of puking Sharon! Speaking of bulimics: I saw Lady Di's dresses at Pacific Place yesterday. Some very very beautiful gowns. Beautiful bead work. Size 6 and 8's. She had a nice bod - although a little thick waisted by American standards. Lots of pictures of her and her charity work. It was a sad but lovely exhibit. Lori: when I was plagued with depression I was helped immensely by a book called " Women and the Blues " by . I still read various chapters from time to time. It's a small paperback and probably available from Amazon.com. Over the weekend I read Little Altars Everywhere - Wells - recommended by someone on this list. It was very, very good. Some of the stories reminded me of 's. Ya-Ya Sisterhood (same author) is next. OK end of the Monday missal - Except for the good news: I lost another 4 lbs. Down a total of 66 since 10/2/98 - although I don't like to quote that date since the band didn't really start working for the first 2 or 3 months. 214# to 148# that's 97 kg to 67 kg. That's $151 per pound! Oh I am so worth it! Thanks for all you help and support! Checking in with you all daily has made this journey easier for sure.
