Hi Ronke

1000ff was the largest denomination I got. That's OK though, it's lower

denominations that cause a problem. Zola had small cheques and it took

them ages to count them up properly .... they got it right in the end

though. There will be a couple of things that you will pay for separately,

for instance, they charge for the endoscopy and the scan separately but the

bulk of the treatment you will pay for when you check out.

Dear Ronke

DON'T PANIC!! I was looking through my bits and pieces and to be honest I

can't find the cost either, however, I recall 200ff for the scan and 800ff

for the endoscopy. However, I do have the break down of the hospital

charges and the difference between the out patient charges and the in

patient charges is 2183ff. Having said that I have since had a refund from

the hospital and I don't know what for!!

I know I haven't been much help, sorry.

Hi Janet,

well I'd rather take too much money than too little...so just to be safe I'm

taking 4000ff extra....the thought to hunting around for a cash machine in

the dead of night makes me break out in a cold sweat :-)

Ronke

PS: I don't think that I've said thank you for all the advice you've been

giving me...you're a real trooper!

Not everybody speaks French! Dr Frering has done the operation more than

1200 times and is very experienced but I think that the language is a

barrier...
