Whole Wheat and Sugar clarifications

I need some clarification on what I'm looking for in regards to sugar and

whole wheat products.

While I was buying yogurt at the store the other day I found the regular,

plain yogurt to contain less sugar (10g) than the non-fat plain yogurt

(15g). There was none listed in the ingredients so that was a little

puzzling to me. Also could someone please clear up what kind of " sugar " I

should be looking for in the ingredient section of a product? Some list

sugar or corn syrup or fructose, so which one is acceptable if any?

Now on to my lack of understanding of the whole wheat thing. I bought some

whole wheat torillas and the ingredients include: whole wheat flour,

enriched flour (bleached wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced

iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, and folic acid).

There's more but WOW could they make that print any smaller.

Anyway, could someone please tell me what wording I should either look for

or stay away from on products?

Thanks.

Sherye
