Guest guest
Yes, I think everyone does especially at the start. I have no problem with the water and I'm pretty anal about keeping my journal but it took me a while to work up to getting all the fruit and veggies in. I started with just trying to get three F & V a day...one at each meal. Then once that became easy I upped it to five. The only time I have trouble now is when we are traveling and eating fast food. There aren't many healthy options and I get tired of the same old salads. Last year we had a POP challenge (stands for 'Perfectly on Plan') that was pretty fun. We had teams and tried to each earn points every day for things like eating all your F & V, drinking all your water, exercising for at least 1 AP, journaling, and staying within your points range. Of course that brings up the who thing about competition but it was optional and some of us found we do much better will a bit of fun competition. Kris Good Health Habits Weight Watchers has their list of Good Health Habits (used to be called " Recommendations " ) in their Week One Flex Points book: 1. measure your portions & keep within your points 2. 6 waters daily 3. 2-3 dairy daily 4. 5 F's and V's daily 5. eat whole grains 6. don't forget enough protein 7. go light on fats/sugar/alcohol 8. take your vitamins Weight Watchers didn't just list out all these good health habits to fill up space in that booklet. These are an intricate combination of steps that you can take for healthy and effective weight loss. If we're not doing all these things, we're not really and totally doing the Weight Watcher program as it was designed--as it was meant to be! So how the heck can we really see the results that are possible?? My challenge is that, if you're not doing EVERY ONE of these Habits, to do them every day for 3 weeks.
