Guest guest
, I'm not sure if you're asking about generic Co Q 10, or the Q Gel form. The problem for me with my Blue Cross/Shield company and Q Gel is, that to my knowledge and theirs, there ISN " T a code, yet. I understand that once it gets FDA approval for marketing (hopefuly this fall) it will then get the NDC #( I think that stands for National Drug Code) that one needs to help get insurance approval. Maybe someone else can give you further info, but this is the info I believe I read coming out of the umdf conference. My Blue Cross steadfastly refuses to pay for an unapproved, " experimental " drug, even with orphan status and docs prescription, until it has been approved for marketing. As far as generic Co Q 10, because that's classified as a nutritional supplement, they won't pay for any vitamin type products, at least not on my policy. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that YOUR company and policy might not cover it, so I suggest you GO FOR IT. All they can do is turn you down:-) Best Wishes and Good Luck, Anita > Hi guys I know this subject has come up a lot, but I can't seem to find the > info on it. I don't know what file I put it in. Guest guest
I'm wondering, the Epic4health website has listed NDC #'s (for the chewable and the liquid). I didn't look up the tablet form. -The ChewQ® 100mg NDC Number is: 54023-9008-5 Doesn't that work with getting insurance to cover?
