I need to make myself a small quick dinner tonight, and don't have leftovers.

I have some raw chicken breast marinating and was thinking of pulling out one

piece, cutting it up, and mixing it in a skillet w/ 2 frozen veggies. I have a

white wine vinegar I was thinking of using.....anyone try it ever? How does

it sound?

Sounds pretty much like stir fry when you come right down to it. Sounds

good. Don't know what I'm going to do for dinner this evening -- got no

leftovers, really, nothing is thawed, and I'm plum outta ideas.

I HATE that!!!! I need to get back to planning my meals all out before I

shop. I'm going to go through the recipes files this week and then shop for

everything I need this weekend. Hopefully it helps alot.

I got lots of stuff HERE, I just don't know what I want to make.

:-P

I'm thinking about trying something new. I'm in kind of a pattie making

mood. On another group, someone was talking about something the Chinese eat

for breakfast called " congee " . It's kind of a rice porridge of sorts.

Apparently, they'll add veggies and meat to it as well as some spices/herbs

to give it more flavor. I was thinking of doing the same but instead of it

having the consistency of soup, use less water and make it into patties.

Maybe grind up the vegetables and such, see where it takes me. Kind of a

veggie pattie of sorts.
