Guest guest
Anne.... I had horrible cramps at about a month out as well and thought I must be having some complication of surgery. Dr. K's nurse knew immediately that it was gas and suggested I take Gas-X or some one of the other similar medications. It cleared the cramps up immediately and I kept taking it for a couple weeks until it was all gone. The nurse told me that after surgery our systems are trying so hard to adjust to the changes and sometimes the gas just gets trapped inside and keeps rumbling around trying to find a way out. I know your doc said it wasn't gas, but I thought my experience might help anyway. Good luck and hope you feel better soon. ===== H Dr. Keshishian 11-21-00 __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Anne- Did you have your gallbladder out with the surgery? If not, I would get it checked out. I had absolutely excruciating cramp-like pain when I had gallbladder attacks and they would happen anytime from right after eating to several hours after eating. Just a thought. Did you feel it in your upper abdomen? Yes, I felt it mostly in the upper abdomen. I honestly thought I was having a complication that would put me back in surgery, it hurt A LOT. I hope this simple remedy helps you as much as it helped me! ===== H Dr. Keshishian 11-21-00 __________________________________________________
