Donna,

Caught your post. The carnitor pills are nasty--big, white and chalky. You

may crush them and mix them with applesauce or something but it is a hassle.

I do not mind the cherry taste of the liquid but someone posted once to mix

it with apple juice. Orange juice was not good to mix with.

My 11 year old son will not take the pills or the liquid so he takes the

carniqgel which each capsule has 30 mg qgel and 250 mg carnitine made by

sigma tau. Also, epic4health sells a carnitine softgel made by sigma tau.

I think it is available from swanson vitamins also. I believe each softgel

is 250 mg.

The only downfall would be the cost if you are getting the carnitor paid for

by insurance. I do not know if you like chocolate milk or a instant

breakfast shake but when I tried mixing the liquid carnitor with my sons

chocolate milk I thought it tasted fine--like a chocolate covered cherry.

Thanks for your post Janet I think I will take the liquid I tried it and I don't

really like it I would like the carnitine gel caps but not if the insurance

won't pay thanks again and take care.

Donna,

You get used to the taste after a while.

I only have herbal teas at home, so am very familiar with the camomile tea.

It is the bases for many of the other herbal teas. You need to research or

be very familiar with what is in some.

My son also used the Nutramagin, along with a wheat, egg and citrus free

diet when young. That was back in the days when Nutramagin only came in a

powdered form that wouldn't mix completely. It took many nipples per feeding

to get it into him.

Watering down skim milk was the next step for him.
