How do you earn 21 APs?

So, here's an example. A 200 pound person gets on his/her

bicycle and peddles at a high intensity for just over 2 hours

- that's 21 AP's - that's somewhere between 25 and 35 miles ...

depending on what you consider to be high intensity....

Point is it can be done, but takes quite a bit ....

Running a half marathon @ 10 min/mile (if that's high intensity

for you) is another example.

Remember the intensity level of a activity varies person to person.

Mitch is right. Riding ten miles on my bicycle at 11 mph used to be a

really high intensity activity for me. Now riding ten miles on my bike at

15 mph is moderate at best. :)

I just bought a heart rate monitor, so I'm hoping I can start calculating

my AP's more accurately from now on, using my heart rate as a more

objective measure of what is " high intensity " vs. " low intensity " or

" moderate intensity " .
