Connie, I'm on hold right as I type with my insurance company. I WILL get

through today:))) If Dr Franco is on the list, then I will immediately call

for an appt. And if they will cover Mayo to, I think I'm going there.

I'm having a terrible flare in my ribs and ears today and have an appt with

my PCP today at 1pm. Hopefully will put me on Imuran. Who knows.

Will let you know what I find out ASAP. Thanks for the nudges!!!!LOL

Hugs

Good Morning :-)

Thanks for the article. Did I tell you that Dr. Franco had Dr.

Nicholson (author of the article) as a guest speaker at his

conference that I attended in April of '98? At the time, I didn't

know that we were in the presence of such a highly esteemed

individual. Actually, at the time of Dr. Nicholson's presentation my

poor little brain was already on over-load due to the fact that we

had sat through almost two full days of the conference. I don't

remember a lot about Dr. Nicholson's presentation, but am sure glad

that his publications pretty much spell out the main ideas. Dr.

Franco uses Dr. Nicholson's lab for mycoplasma testing, using the PCR

method which is (from what I understand) much more specific than the

regular blood tests.

Hope you have a great day today....hopefully all will come together

for you. It just has to!

take care and many hugs,

Connie H
