Guest guest
I would go to a specialist rather than wait just to see what you are working with. Maybe it will round out but maybe it won't. We noticed our son's flattening at 2 months, went to CT at 3months, and finally decided to band at 7.5 months. From 2 months-7.5 months, we repositioned, did even more tummy time, etc. and our son's head didn't get worse but it also didn't get better. So from our experience, it doesn't round out. My son is now 13 months and the flattening that was left after banding (not much) is still there so I would think that it won't round out on its own. I would do stretches if you need to and reposition and work on increasing tummy time. You can always wait and set a date (like a month or two from now) and if you see positive results and if not, then band. Good luck. > > My baby is 2 and 1/2 months old and we noticed that when he was born > he had his right frontal skull a bit bumpier than the left side.
