I've been waiting for (my 23 yr old) to retun tonight from San Diego (a 9-10 hr drive) She just returned safely too!! Whew! Prayers are answered again. Connie, when we talked before, I mentioned how sick I was while taking the zithromax. Do you think it was stirring up those toxins? I really do have to make some serious decisions here in the next few days. Can't afford to be flying around the country, but know I need to see an RP specialist. Will let you know asap what I find out from my insurance company. Then I will GET on the phone and make the appts with the drs that I decide on. (I should have gone to San Diego with my daughter and camped out at Dr Franco's office)LOL Thank you for all the " nudges " .!!! They are really appreciated. I'm flaring again from not being on the metho, so MUST do something and soon. Will up my pred again and Kick this RP again out the door. Thanks for always being there when I need you. Guest guest
Hi , It's nice to hear from you, too. As for me, I can't complain (too much anyway :-) Just the little aches and pains...the ones that are hard to tell if they are RP or just the day to day aches and pains of a 46 year old :-) Kids are still here, but the time goes so fast. heads back to Omaha in one week and a goes back to Portland in two. I hate it when they leave, but at the same time there is a sort of relief. Maybe out of sight, out of mind?? Right now, I am waiting up for my 16 year old daughter to drive herself home (another worry...but I try not to.) , you mentioned your 'maybe' Lupus rash. I know of some people on the rheumatic list who are taking either Minocin or Doxycycline for that, as well, and are seeing good results. OK, here's another nudge :-) *When* you go see Dr. Franco, he will definitely be able to sort out your dx. (How's that?) Also, I think that Southwest Airlines is having a sale betweeen Sacramento and Ontario, CA...but as I type this, I wonder if I got the cities right. I'll let you know. Well, is home (thanks again, dear Lord) so I'll close for now. Talk to you all very soon, Love, Connie

(hey if you get a script, get one for me too)LOL Good luck at the sleep clinic. Glad you are having it done. I haven't been able to use my c pap machine for a week with this cold. I can sure feel the difference. Good luck and sleep well. Thinking of you
Guest guest
Hi Connie thanks for your message and yes, I do know you are thinking of me, as I'm thinking of you as well. I'm trying to get my papers and mags sorted out...it's very time consuming. I'm sure the Minocin will help, but I see the doctor next week and he'll advise me whether I should continue or not, unfortunately I have the generic brand. If the doctor suggests to continue I will ask him for another script and I'll take it to another pharmacy and ask to be given the name brand. Otherwise I feel fine, except for some fatigue, but that could be due to not enough sleep, exercise and fresh air. I have an appt at the sleep clinic this PM and I'll let you know what the doctor says. take care love Carmela *********************** > >Reply-To: Rpolychondritis >To: Rpolychondritis > >Subject: Re: Welcome back Carmela >Date: Tue, 13 Feb 2001 20:39:13 -0800 > >Hi Carmela :-) > > is certainly right, it is good to have you back :-) > >I, too, know so very well about the papers and magazines taking complete >control of the house.....I've been throwing out a lot of papers in the last >few weeks too.....and it feels wonderful :-)) .....gee, I hope I didn't >throw away anything important!
