Guest guest
Hi, I was reading this with interest. I was encouraged by this. I may slip off program but I get right back on. I know this works if I do it. I only have a few pounds to lose and I don't ever want to have to do this again. I have done that before. This is the 3rd time I have reached goal and I really want it to be the last time. My name is Barb. I lost 30 pounds on the program and am a lifetime member. I have been maintaining for almost 2 years. My goal weight is in the high range (which I set for my age and health) but now I feel I can lose about 5 more pounds. I will always be a weight watcher - this program not only works to lose weight but it is so healthy. This is so important to me now as I am older ;-) I look forward to meeting some of you and I hope to find encouragement here and offer some also. Guest guest
Barb, Great to have you here! This is my second time on WW since I started 2 years ago (not counting the times where I would be on program for 2 days and then just quit), but, like you, I know this program works if I do it right. It's so funny sometimes, 'cause it's so easy!!! Yet, I manage to convince myself that I'll feel better if I eat badly. Only to feel worse afterwards. My mind can be so stupid sometimes!!! But, I did great yesterday. I actually ate too few points on accident, but not enough to be a problem (I ate 20 & my minimum is 22.) I started using my heart monitor when I'm out jogging and that's going to help me maximize my workout and burn even more fat! Plus, my daily Curves workout in the morning, which I'm feeling a big difference since I started doing the workout correctly. (I was putting more effort into the recovery stations, instead of putting forth 100% at the machines...duh!) =) I'm going to try posting my progress w/ points, etc. everyday, just so I can force myself to type down a high number if I haven't done that well. My plan is to not come to that point, but I think it will help. And a big thanks to Lyn for letting me be a moderator for this great group! That's a great personal motivator! =) (Sorry if this message was too random. I was thinking of all this stuff I wanted to say and it just didn't flow as well as I would have liked it to. =Þ) 175/157 (who am I kidding?!!)/ 130 Re: Re: moderating & hello from new member > Hi, > I was reading this with interest.
