Guest guest
Hi , I'm so sorry to hear that you are still feeling cruddy :-( I hope things turn around real soon for you. It is possible that the Zithromax could be stirring up toxins and making you feel worse.....I noticed, after taking it only twice a week for two weeks, that my cough definitely increased. Once I realized that it was a Herxheimer reaction to the Zith, I quit worrying so much and my cough eventually improved, too. I know of others who have experienced a Herx with the Zith, too. Of course, another possibility is that your bug is a virus and it just has to run its course.... Which ever, I do hope you are feeling better very soon. Be sure to mention this to Dr. Franco when you see him...nudge, nudge :-) take care and many hugs to you, Connie Hey Carolyn, I wish you were feeling better, I just know you will find some good answers on your upcoming journey. Be sure and let the airline people help you...with wheelchairs or whatever is needed, OK? We'll all be thinking of you....and we'll all join you, too, in the little tiny exam room :-)) all 150+ of us if you want! Where are you staying while in Seattle? I sure wish I could run on over the mountains to visit, but it's about a there and a half hour drive and includes Snoqualmie Pass...but who knows? I'm sure it was a shocker to have to pay so much money up front to see Dr. Franco. Is that because you are not going through insurance? Maybe he's had too many patients like me....who have & ^$%#^ insurance companies. My first visit cost somewhere around $1500 - $2000 as I remember....around $200 for the office visit, around $600 for lots of x-rays, and somewhere around $800 in lab fees. This year, since my insurance company is such a pain, I asked Dr. Franco's nurse if she would get the lab order to me and I would have it taken care of up here at home....my insurance pays better that way. So, in February I think all I will have to pay for is the office visit (which I will gladly pay.) I'll bring the bloodwork results with me, or send them to Dr. Franco beforehand. I know that there are some new faces in his office. If you have any trouble, ask to talk to Doree. She's the office manager and very kind, too. I've also spent a lot of time on the phone with Hazel from the bookkeeping dept.....tell her you are my friend :-) love, Connie Well, Everyone, I hope you are all doing well. Please know that many prayers are being said for everyone on this great list. Angie, it is so gooooood to hear that you are doing better! take care and love always, Connie H. Can't think of any other reason I'm not getting better. I just can't get my strength back and want to sleep all the time. Maybe going off the mehto and folic acid is also a factor. I haven't done a thing about contacting Dr Franco or anyone else. I'm leaning towards the mayo clinic, but my brain is so foggy, cant seem to make any decisions right now. I hope that you had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed your children. Take care and thanks for all the nudges, I need them all. Hugs
