Welcome back !!! Dear Ronke, I didn't reply earlier to your request for Janet's phone No. because I spoke to her yesterday morning and she said that you had called her the night before. :-) Just to tell you that I hadn't forgotten you ... Like Liz and Jessie (and most of us I guess), I put a lot of clothes in my " too big " box. But I also have a mother who is soooooooo good at sewing, and a sewing machine myself ... As I am only half way down, I don't want to buy too many new clothes. Wooooooooow Jessie, you are such an inspiration !!! Steve and Ken: don't speak up please, so we will have your bump and grind picture! :-)) Nobody told me yet that I took the easy way. At least not in front of me .... hehehe I wouldn't mind anyway, because I know I have done the right thing. I also know that if I hadn't had this operation done, not only wouldn't I have lost any pound, but I would be even fatter by now. (ooooops, what a sentence ...) /// Dr. Fox put me on the Dr. Atkins diet today /// Dear Terri, I am so much against diets ... Don't misunderstand me: we need to change the way we eat, we have to chose the right things, in quality and amount, and it's FOR LIFE. But dieting ... mmmmmmmmm We all have tried dieting before, with the results we know. Same with the amphetamines Dr Fox gives to some patients ... He is probably a good doctor, but I am a bit afraid that he wants to speed up his patients' weight loss in order to raise his statistics. Of course we want to lose as much as possible in just a little time, but our bodies won't react too good to that. Plus with the help of Atkins diet and amphetamines ... hummm I wonder ... /// Last Saturday's chat /// We were only four people in the chat room and most of the time three only. I far as I remember (I have a terrible memory), the main subject was the amphetamines.
