I have two reccomendations.. both products you can get from the UK

and i'm sure with some effort you could get them in the US. They are

*lifesavers* when it comes to gut issues.

Firstly, s liver salts. Deals with feeling of stomach based nausea.

It compelety stops food poisoning symtoms in me (and damn good for hangovers

too) =)

Secondly, Kaolin and Morphine (spelling?). For dealing with painfull stomach

problems.

The first you can buy in supermarkets, the second I believe is pharmacy only but

doesn't require a prescription.

I know exactly what you mean! :) When we lived in Scotland there was this

wonderful stuff that you added a spoon full to a cup of hot water and made a

" tea " that was perfect for bronchitis flare ups (it also had morphine).

But the strange thing was... you had to have a prescription for a douche!!!

(they were working on changing that when we left.
