Guest guest
My daughter Calley (age 6) had her tonsils and adenoids removed due to obstructive sleep apnea approx 2 years ago, her tonsils were HUGE! Recovery was rough (she also had her trach stoma closed at that time). We feel the surgery was very beneficial in her case, the sleep apnea resolved, she slept better/had more energy, her breathing was better and also her oral eating as well as her speech improved. Hope that helps. Kind Regards, Colleen - Mom to Calley 6, Mito (complex IV), gtube, & trach (decannulated 4/17/00) Dylan 11 & ny 15 mito answer - sleep apnea Date: Wed, 15 Oct 2003 17:41:38 EDT From: jayvelde@...Subject: Re: brigitteanyone know much about if getting tonsils out helps sleep apena? well thanks for advice my prayers are with each of you and your families.
