My rice cooker instructions say 2.5 cups of water for each cup of brown rice.

We have a steamer -- large pot with smaller pot that has holes and sits

inside it. I use it all the time to steam veggies. When I'm done, I give

it a rinse and toss it into the dishwasher. :)

Most rices I do 2x the water/ff-low salt broth to rice.

So, put in one cup of rice, 2 cups water and flip the switch. It'll steam

the rice. Then, when it shuts off, DO NOT OPEN THE LID and set your timer for

15 minutes.

Voila.

For brown rice, I add an extra 1/4 cup as I don't like it too sticky.

Go to the manufacturer's web site. Many actually carry online manuals for

their products now.

You're welcome, Shelli. I should have said add extra water....I hope you

didn't think I meant add more rice! LOL.
