sounds like the things yuo are doing are good. we just jumped right into banding and he was fine, I would only want to draw it out if I had to. as for the amby we had it but stopped using it around 6 mo so before he was banded. he did not sleep any better in it than anywhere else.

First let me introduce myself. I am in the Dallas area and my daughter will get her band Monday (she is 4.5 months old and had 13mm asym and 4 SD brach). We survived casting with few tears last Friday. I noticed questions about avoiding laying flat for younger kids and regression. One thing that my bf already had that I decided to order was an Amby bed (www.ambybaby.com

). I'm wondering if anyone else has/had one? I'm hoping this well help with comfort as well as be preventative for our next child. Also, besides using the exosaucer, bumbo, and tummy time along with stretches - are their other recommendations you would share.I saw the car seat questions and we already changed the level on our Graco and will do so again to keep her head from coming forward although now when it does it's usually b/c she's trying to sit up.

Any words of wisdom for banding day and the 1st week? I'm going to ask them about the slow transition - all day the 1st day, 1/2 night added the 2nd and all night the 3rd.
