Guest guest
On Jan 1st my company is changing ins. providers. The good thing is that the neurosurgeon should be in network now, with UHC I was using a gap extention coverage. I will find out more on the plan this coming week. I am so happy I found this group! My son, Tanner, got his DOC Band off in November, and our insurance claim has been turned down by United Healthcare, as I heard it probably would. I am working on an appeal and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me??? He was categorized as "severe", and his plagio was on the right rear portion. I saw a woman at Babies R Us with twins (one had plagio) and she said she heard it was more of a medical condition when the plagio is on the side of back fo the head as opposed to the center of the back of the head. Has anyone heard that either?Any insurance information anyone can help me with would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, and I'm looking forward to chatting!
