Guest guest
The bands are basically the same, but will hold on the sides (where the head is wide) and have extra room in the back for growth. Some people say that brachy takes longer to correct, because it requires more growth. However I don't really know if that is true. You can't reduce extra width or height, but if you direct new growth to the back, the overall proportion and appearance improves quite a bit. The band will be custom made for your babies head, and have extra room where your son needs it. Also adjustments are made according to his growth. My daughter wore a starband, but DOCband and Hanger bands are also very effective. The key to success is the experience of the person working with the band. you can see pics of my daughter before and after as well as a scan showing the shape change by looking at the Photos section - Our Plagio Babies S/Sydney M. take care. -christine sydney 19 mo starband grad > > > > I'll be sure to ask the specialist about cranio -- my son's > head/face looks completely normal from the front - its this darn flat > spot in the back...he was born 3 weeks before his due date - and I > even had people comment on " what a perfectly round head he has...
