Guest guest
Hi Tina, It's great that you're recognizing how this disease (morbid obesity) works, and what habits you have and how they work. One thing to remember is that yesterday is over and done, and you can NOT change it. Learn from it, but do NOT use it as a weapon against yourself. Today is a new day, and every minute is a new minute, a new beginning, a chance to learn from the past and do better than we (yes, I meant " we " since I need to remind myself of this too, and we're all in this together) did yesterday. Think in terms of striving for progress rather than perfection. I at least find that less overwhelming and depressing when I fall short of perfection. So lose the guilt! Guest guest
Thank you! I knew I needed to eat and I knew I was being advanced to the next stage and those things were on Stage III on Tuesday, so I tried them. I ate very little and chewed very well. I didn't exactly " Cheat " , I just moved myself up a stage 3 days early! Tina > > I'm feeling guilty so I'm hoping with a bit of confession I'll > feel > > better and be able to move on. Guest guest
So if I understand your " confesion " correctly, you're feeling bad for starting phase III food three days early? (You ate it Saturday, but you were going to be cleared to to do it Tuesday?) You ate the proper foods, in the proper amounts, and had no ill effects, right? This isn't a confession, it's a celebration! Welcome to phase III! Uncle Timmy -236 > I'm feeling guilty so I'm hoping with a bit of confession I'll feel > better and be able to move on. Guest guest
Thanks for putting in perspective Uncle Timmy. At first I was fine about my choices, then I started analyzing and thinking about the fact that I did it 3 days earlier than I was suppose to and...and...and...the negative mind kicked in. I feel much better about it now. Thank you! Tina > > I'm feeling guilty so I'm hoping with a bit of confession I'll > feel > > better and be able to move on.
