Hi...

Next week is the first time that my six month old will be flying. Has

anyone had trouble going through airport security with the Starband?

Do they make you take it off, etc.? There is a bit of metal on the

outside of it where the velcro strap is attached. Just wanted to know

what to expect.

Thanks

We flew without any incident many times with our DOC band. We never beeped. It's actually illegal for thm to ask you to take off an orthotic or prosethtic according to the FAA website. andreamshannon <andreamshannon@...> wrote: Hi...Next week is the first time that my six month old will be flying. We flew with a starband last year and had no problems, and didn't have

to take it off. I have heard of people being asked to take it off, or

to get it swabbed to check for explosives, but I haven't heard of any

real problems.
