Our daughter has been hooked to Pfish Food since we've returned home...forget those store brands anymore! I don't buy ice cream often for her but after the spill on her bike a week ago, i figured she needed the treat! I make sure she lets a pint last a week though! Glad you had a great trip, Terry! Guest guest
Hi! We're home from vacation. It was great . . the weather was marvelous, the lobster population is now decimated due to my mass consumption of them, and Duncan was such a good little traveler. All in all, it's good to be home, though. I tell you, I ate everything in sight that didn't eat me first. I ate until I am sick of eating. Me . . . who LOVES to eat early and often. Me . . . . who can't take medicine that has to be taken on an empty stomach because my stomach is never empty! Me . . . who isn't EVEN going to get on the scale to find out the damage, but is going directly back onto induction tomorrow morning, no passing GO, no collecting $200! Congratulations to all of you who have been losing so well. Particularly to you, Debbie! I saw the pictures you posted, and you are looking marvelous! You're new WOL and your new E-program are paying off for you. Welcome to our newest members . . . . thanks for hanging in there while I was moderating the new messages only once a day. We've actually had several new members join . . I hope they'll pipe up soon and introduce themselves so I can take them off moderated status. Sue, I'm glad they didn't find anything seriously wrong with you at the hospital. Honey-child, you've got to learn, somehow, in the midst of all your turmoil, to RELAX! It sounds like you are eating yourself up from the inside out! I'm so glad to be back home among all of you friends. Here's a little picture of Duncan at the L. L. Kids store in Freeport. He loved it! Terry168/155.25/154 (minigoal)/ ? (To be determined) Visit my web page at www.dtnorth.com

Guest guest
Thanks, Cindy. It was funny . . . . everywhere we went, people remarked how they thought Duncan looked like Art. Of course, that just swelled Art's head up no end! Maybe it's true that when people live together long enough they start looking like one another! Terry168/155.25/154 (minigoal)/ ? Guest guest
No, we didn't make it to the bear factory, but we did tour Ben and Jerry's factory near Stowe. We did stay one night in Burlington, before heading across Vermont and then New Hampshire (via the Kankamangus Highway) to Maine. Here we are at the B & J factory. Terry168/155.25/154 (minigoal)/ ? Guest guest
It was very interesting at the B & J factory. Much smaller than I had imagined it would be. And fascinating. By the way, I didn't even sample what they offered us. We'd just eaten breakfast, and I didn't care for the two flavors they were offering that morning, anyway. That's probably the ONLY thing on the trip I DIDN'T eat! Terry168/155.25/154 (minigoal)/ ? Guest guest
Terry, welcome back home! Glad you had a good time. Isn't it awesome when Daddy's get the glow when comments are made about their kids looking like them? Happened to my step-father and me, several years ago we were told how much alike we look, I think it pleased both of us Re: Home from Vacation No, we didn't make it to the bear factory, but we did tour Ben and Jerry's factory near Stowe. Guest guest
Did you put a plug in for some B & J w/Splenda?!? If not, you may have to take another vacation and see to it! ;-) HJ ----- Original Message ----- It was very interesting at the B & J factory. Much smaller than I had imagined it would be. Guest guest
HJ, As a matter of fact, someone in the tour group did ask about artificially sweetened ice cream. The guy doing the tour said they've been trying to develop a sugar free version for quite some time, but the texture of the ice cream suffers so much. I think the sugar/cream reaction is similar to that magical combination of yeast/flour. Perhaps it just isn't duplicatable. The guys said they'll keep working on the SF track, though, and see what they can come up with. Didn't sound too promising though . . . don't hold your breath! I'll be GLAD to go back and check on this for you next year, though! Terry168/155.25/154 (minigoal)/ ?
