Glenda,

They do it here too!!!

Thanks for the advice, we do have the citizen's advocate that helps disabled

people.

I don't have a problem with the docs, they know I can't work yet, but they

think I might be able to in the spring. I've decided that I will go and look

for work when I can and stay on the unemployment insurance for now. If I'm

not better by springtime, I should have the pension contributions split by

then and I'll apply for disability. People with diseases like lupus get

disability quite easily so I shouldn't have too much problems. So far it's

been 8 months that this flaring has been going on in the spring it will be

over a year and it will be considered prolonged. My first flare was in Nov.

98 with another in Nov. 99.

The doctor is worried that I'll get bored if I don't work. I'm sure I can

find things to do, like artwork. I know if I really want to go on disability

my doctor will fill out the forms. He's already said that.

I wish I could help your sister, sounds like she has it rough. It seems to

me that it is harder to get on disability in the states.

Well I guess I should read the rest of my mail.

Take care and be well,

Elaine T.

Elaine,

So glad that you are feeling better! I always seems

better the next day after everything has tumbled down

on you. To bad that you have had so much lately.

Like we talked about in chat maybe just a part time

job would be okay and then things will get rolling

with your pension and disability. It seems that

things work out no mater how much we worry! Too bad

it didn't work out faster!LOL I will be sending good

thoughts and prayers your way! Take care my friend!

Lots of Love

Glenda

Glenda,

You are so right! Things do look better the next day and things always work

out. Sometimes it's just hard to keep that in mind when so much is going on

around you. My whole life has been a roller coaster ride, you'd think I'd be

used to it now!

Anyhow my sweety brought home some sushi for me. Time to eat some little

fishies!! YUM!!

Take care,

Elaine T.

PS-Congratulations on your new President!!
