It is my first (and, so far, only tape). But I LOVE it!! I must own every other exercise video that is out there and this is, by far....the most fun AND the most effective! I especially enjoy seeing people other than "models" exercising with !! It makes it real! If it weren't for you, Roxie, I would have never of know of the Walk Away the Pounds videos! Many, many thanks!!!

Also, I don't have much time to exercise, I work and have 2 little kids. My husband is never home. I have a treadmill that I use once in a while and I like it. However, I am not using it consistently to show results. Would the Walk Away Pounds program help me get structured? How much time is involved?

Thanks, Allyson

WATP do not use a treadmill. The time involved would depend on what tape you had. The 1 mile tape is 18 minutes, 2 mile is 30 minutes, and the three mile is 45 minutes, 4 mile is 1 hour. It would depend on what you wanted to do. Start with the 1 mile if you are not used to exercising. Good luck.

I guess I would have to suggest that you start with the regular WATP to see if you like it. If you start with that one you could get 2 pound hand weights unless you get the package with the 2 pound balls already in it.

How do we know which package to buy? There are so many of them. What accessories are important? Thanks, Allyson

Couldn't you get the four-mile tape and stop when you need/want to?

You could but the more miles you had on the tape it has a different tempo. I find that the 4 mile is very exhausting. But I will do it once in a while.

I got most of mine from the web site. But if you can get them in the store with all the stuff it is usually cheaper. If you have a Sam's club or BJ's club membership you can get them there in the pack. $39 is not a bad deal either but you have to add the shipping charge.

This is her website so you can check out all of the tapes that she has made. If you have any questions on most of them I can tell you about them as I have 15 of her tapes.

I do love to exercise. I do Body Electric every day and would go to the gym if I had time. TIme is my hardest part.

Allyson - What is Body Electric?

It is a 30 minute show on PBS every morning. It's weights, no jumping around, all toning. I really like it. I tape it and do it the next morning before work.

I have been doing the WATP videos......usually 4 miles per day sometimes 3. I just thought I would throw something else in for a change.....so I bought the "Firm" tape...I hate it! Does anyone know if walmart will take back DVD's that have been opened? I should have stuck with what was working and that I enjoyed!

Just bought the WATP with Abs yesterday. Did the one mile....it was

good.

The walking part doesn't bother me much because I walk 2+ miles

everyday anyway....so I figured I'd better get the one with the ABS

too....

Didn't notice much with the arm bands yesterday....but today I have

this mysterious sore muscles in my back and chest...hmmmmm..... =)

Best part about it was that it was EASY and it was over before you

know it....(which is great for me, since I get bored easy with

excercise).....as soon as the muscles stop being sore from it, I'm

going to move up to the two mile!!

This post reminded me of something about my session yesterday trying

out the tapes. I have a 8 month old son, who is VERY mobile.

I got extra movement because I had to keep moving around the living

room because he kept crawling over to me and wanted to hang onto my

leg....he thought that we were playing a fun game!! It was really

cute....

When he wasn't doing that, he was off getting into something. I'd

put him in his saucer or something....but then he cries the whole

time.....

To answer your questiong Allyson - the 1 Mile took me about 15-20

minutes with warm up stretches and cool down stretches.
