Guest guest
I may just do the veggie thing myself as I have been in a long stall myself. I have been doing basically a 1.5 for a month and have lost 4 pounds. I know, I know...better than nothing. I will give myself one more week then maybe make some adjustments. Funny story... You guys have got me looking at prices, coupons & stores. I decided to go to Super Wal-Mart this past week to do my food shopping. I was looking at the mayo and the smaller size was 1.98 and the bigger size was 3 bucks and you got more than double for your money with the bigger size. I had both in my hand and thought " What would do? " There I was all alone in the aisle giggling to myself! LOL In the end...I did get the smaller one because to be honest, I don't use that much mayo, and I would have to throw the big jar away before it was done in fear that it had gone bad. BTW ..what is the fridge life for Mayo? MB RE: james > What was your total weight loss for the week? Well, it WAS 7 pounds and then I went into uber-stress mode, increased my fat intake substantially, and gained a few pounds back. Evidently, fat is indeed my enemy in more ways than one. I dropped all but about half a pound back off again so I'm at 6 pounds off. I'm trying like the devil to get some stuff pre-cooked so I have some decent quick meals but it's super tough right now -- there's just no time for anything. The kids have been sick, T's been largely out of commission, the garden's a wreck, I've been spending a LOT of time cleaning out/up the old house, fighting with the furnace issue (it went out, warranty company sent a sheister contractor, had to work through the red tape to get another one), working (a positive thing, that), and more. I think I'm about as burned out as I can be right now -- I haven't slowed down in over 2 weeks and it's really taking its toll. Things should start to ease up a bit in a couple of days so I'm still hopeful that I can get things back on track. Even still, I can't argue the 6 pounds -- that's more than I'd have lost if I ate the way I was while all this has been going on.
