Guest guest
HA! I love that you feel I helped you...but oh my goodness...you've been a lifeline for me, Pam. Really. I can never thank you enough. And we'll keep helping each other through as we go along this journey. One of the greatest side-benefits to this whole thing is that it gave us the opportunity to know each other better...and to add a new friend to our arsenal! Love you Sweetpea! Guest guest
My advice to you would be to continue doing what you did this week. Do not go off your plan and I am pretty darn sure you will be way below. Just remember, you have the date now and only you can take it away from yourself. Nothing at this point is worth having the surgery canceled. I am rooting for you Missy. Guest guest
Hi Robynn I am doing great thanks for asking! This weekend my workouts have been working for the second weekend in a row putting in a doughboy pool, it gets very hot in vacaville and it will help us beat the heat ! It was a mothers day present from my husband, I have been wanting a pool for a long time but just dont have an extra 40,000 around to do it LOL............... anyways my husband commented yesterday how much more help and endurance i have than if we had been doing this last year. One fear i have always had a little of is heights, well we had to put a ladder in the inside of the pool to get out when we were done getting the siding up, i was the one on the inside of the pool who had to go up and over the otherside of the ladder, i am so use to having been big for so long that i was worried the ladder would not carry my weight, i was a little scared and i asked my husband the stats on the ladder and he started cracking up reminding me that i now weigh less than he does, and then i was laughing .............little moments like that are good, priceless. I just hope the marriage survives the setting up of the pool, its like going camping and putting up a tent in the dark after you have arrived late and you dont want to wake up your tenting neighbors but you want to yell and scream when things dont go right(you get the picture LOL) I am so glad that you have Pam helping you, she is so sweet and so fresh out of this that I think its a good ratio of time inbetween from where she is at and where you are starting. You should be very proud of yourself and we are all proud of you, and i have enjoyed your posts and i feel like my another child of mine is going of to college or something................. Here is something sort of funy that happened on friday, i had to go to a funeral for a very dear friend that passed away of pancreatic cancer............ well after the service there was a buffet in the church hall and i did good with taking protein, lunch meats, shrimp and a bite of potato salad and some olives, well as it happened our table we sat at was right next to a table of sweets, there was this one cookie i love to die for, a simple type rich butter cookie dipped in chocolate sauce on the top, i stared at that tray off and on, two young gentleman 17 or so packed a plate full of these goodies and were sitting right next to me and finally i just couldnt stand it when my husband comes over and has his plate, i went to get this one cookie even thoughi knew i could only have one bite, and do you know when i went over there , every single one was gone, did god have a plan LOL anyways i just thought that was funny very excited for you !
