Guest guest
Hi Marie, Its never too late to re-claim your life.Good for you.If i'm not mistaken there is someone on this list from Adelaide who I think has the Dr as you also. How has it changed my life?Well quite simply I am no longer obsessed with food and for me thats the bottom line because as a result of that happening I am loosing weight. Guest guest
Dear Marie, Welcome to the Bandsters !!! I am not wondering why it took so long to do anything ... you know, we all are in the same boat. I am not your age, size and weight, as I'm 38 yo, 5'8 " and weighed 115 kg at the beginning, about 14 months ago. Now I've lost less than 24 kilos since then. Slow loss, I know, but loss anyway. And I can tell you anyway: the band has changed my life. Definitely. Best luck to you ! Cheers, Marina, Switzerland 38 yo, 5'8 " , single Dec. 7, 1997 : 115.3 kg - 254 lb / Today : 91.6 kg - 202 lb 23.7 kg - 52 lb gone forever, but still on a plateau :-(
Guest guest
Dear Marie, We are ALL your age and weight...in other words it really doesnt matter. We all had a problem and we are all dealing with it in our own ways. Do not beat your self up about the time frame..it is never too late. I am realtively new in our group but from whaere i sit, it is a great mix of people and personalities. I have learned more in the past weeks since finding this site than I did in the past year being in a so called 'research group'. I guess i could say i should have looked sooner..but i wont. I found it now and now is where i am. My head is focused im going to get my band adjusted FINALLY after a year and i am on my way. Although i have lost 35 lbs i dont no what it is in kilos, i no it is equal to a average 4 year old, lol so i feel great about it. soon i will have lost a first grader and then on to getting this other " person " off my back LOL. chin up all hope to see lots less of us lol!!!! Guest guest
Ibselle, I also have also had someone else hanging around inside my skin, it's so unfair cause the other one eats too much and is overweight!
