Guest guest Posted April 9, 2001 Report Share Posted April 9, 2001 Sorry to say Vicky and Sue, but I haven't got anything good to say about my current situation and therefore do not post. I feel that I may have spent a hell of a lot of money on a crock! I cannot speak for the other quiet ones but have spoken on the phone with both Amy and Jo. Amy is reading posts as far as I know but isn't yet quite up to posting about what is going on in her life. Jo I think is having trouble finding time to sit and post, she has been really busy. has been very quiet as has Bruce. I read the posts every morning and am enjoying seeing all the newbies having a go. Good to see that you both are getting on top of things as well. I had sensed something was wrong with the switches seen as everything had gone quiet How's work going ??? Have you plans for Easter Keep in touch,even if its just to say Hi. I hoping to get to the next meeting ,but my Dad has major shoulder surgery next Thursday and they live down the coast, and with Mum not being 100% either I not sure of our movements over the next fortnight. Guest guest Posted April 10, 2001 Report Share Posted April 10, 2001 Thanks Vicky, Don't get me wrong. The switches for the others are something I wouldn't know about. I just know that mine is not going according to plan. I feel great and you would never know that I have had the surgery, it is just that I can eat and drink anything in any quantity and even by making good food choices have not been able to shift any weight. My body has been so used to changes that I think it managed to get used to this change in record time as well and my weight has balanced quickly. I suppose the one good thing so far is that I haven't gained any weight. After 7 weeks I would have expected better results but it is not to be and I am going to have to get used to the idea. I will not be seeing again until the end of May. Bummer, but these things happen. I guess I will be at the meeting. No choice!! I will try not to be a grumpy bum!! Hope you can make it. Our whole lives seem to revolve around it in fact! This platau thing that everyone speaks of (especially all those skinny dieticians etc!!)drives me insane! Had 2 'top-up's in the past 2 weeks, dieting like a woman possessed & like you...NOTHING!!! So I did the most natural thing under these circumstances...I ate a chocolate bar!!!! Hang in there Cath......I am sure I am not the only one who understands your frustration & in particular...your ANGER!!
