Well, it was 7 weeks yesterday since I was banded, and I've lost

13kgs. I'm certain this 'honeymoon' period will end soon enough, but

I'm pretty happy with the early progress !

Yesterday, I wore a pair of pants to work that I haven't worn for

about a year. I felt rather special :)

I'm going in to The Avenue for my first fill at 3.15pm on Friday.

Will any other Melbourne people be there then ?

cheers,

Leanne

Well Done Leanne.......I bet your just so proud!!

I'm having the same problem as the other girls at the moment....my weight does

not seem to be budging from that 8kg mark......I go for another fill on

Monday....and I also start walking tonight.....hopefully that will get things

moving again.

Hi Helene, I don't know who your doctor is but at The Avenue we do not pay for fills. It is bulked billed. If you would like a visitor when you have your op let me know as I live in the general Dandenong area. Are you also aware that we have support group meetings once a month. It would be great to see you there.

Esther.
