Guest guest
Tonight is dinner at my DH's brother and wifes home w/ their three girls. BIL is grilling steaks and burgers and SIL is having baked potatoes/ raw veggies w/ it. I am bringing caramel apple salad and some chips/ dip and pop for the younger kids. They range from 19 down to 3!! What a clan! Should be fun- I plan to have a small piece of steak, light on the s cream and butter for my potato, lots of veggies and a scoop of c. apple salad- I think that'll be plenty, considering we went out for breakfast after church- I was good though. I hate one egg, 2 pc wheat toast, 1/2 order hash browns and 2 strips bacon--so no lunch today!! Have a good one-- and Zephyr- thinking about you today, be safe please!! Got thin crust and ate 3 pieces or squares and I do not think that was too too bad. For dinner tonight I will make the chicken, orzo ans asiago. What is on your menu tonight? Today I will go to my best firends son's first birthday party and then take our coampany around to see different colleges in the area. Make it a great day. > Zephyr > > > >
Guest guest
Happy Sunday to all! We are having a little bit of everything tonight: leftover pizza and pizza witches salad Cheddar potato soup (from the craft show yesterdays-a mix in a mason jar-add milk) I will just have soup tonight myself-weigh in is tomorrow night:( Not looking forward to it since I think I may have gained this month or lost VERY little at all- time to pay the piper and move on:) I have decided since I saw so many food tables at the craft shows yesterday(fudge, breads and jams, beef jerky etc) that I have to find some healthy and great tasting snack foods, mixes, etc to invent and sell myself at craft shows since so many people are health conscious nowadays--any ideas? Ever seen any foods sold that are good for you at these shows? Everyone likes to eat, but I always see the same stuff all the time, so original ideas could really attract buyers-- Caren ><(((*> > > Good Morning Everyone!!!!! > Well today will be the turkey tenderloin stew I was supposed to have yesterday. We ended up taking Skyler to his birht sister's birthday party and his birth grandparents were there adn so we stayed much later than we thought we would be. It was so nice, they were really adoring him. The last time we saw them they said it was a very awkward sitution for them so we let them make the next contact. I can only feel for them and the situation as it is not their choice, they are raising his birth brother and my client that introduced us has his birth sister. It was so incredibly awesome and moving to have all three of them together. Soooooo needless to say we stayed and dinner never got made we had sandwiches late. What is on the menu today???? > Zephyr > > > >
