They chill the xray tables at my facility just for this exposure. *L* It is good that you have lost some weight this year. As the weather continues to improve, maybe you can go outside more. I am pre-op, so I am curious...what is your day to day life like now? > Well I am 16 months out. Still haven't reached goal. The weightloss is really slowing down. Guest guest
I know exactly what you mean about the gown!! I had to go to the urologist the other day for a cystoscopy and I was amazed that my gown closed in the back without any gaps! Wow! I am 4 months out and have lost 90 pounds since the surgery. I can't believe how great I feel!!!!! Stacey Loma Re: Update Lida, Congratulations!!! I am pre-op so I am prepared for the weight loss slow down. Guest guest
My day to day life is pretty good now. I figure I still have about 50-70 lbs to reach goal. I can walk now which I had problems preop. I still have problems with energy and it is so hard to remember to eat --whether it be food or protein shakes -- (gee ... You think there might be a correlation there? <G>) so that is a constant struggle. I do get enough liquid in so that’s a good thing and I know I need to exercise more. Unfortunately, my job is keeping me way too busy (~80 hour work weeks between my regular job and my job as a volunteer paramedic) so it is hard to get up the enthusiasm to get out and exercise even more .... But I know that will really increase my weightloss now that I am slowing down. -- Lida http://www.candlelightdreams.com http://www.pbase.com/coffenut The real menace about dealing with a five-year-old is that in no time at all you begin to sound like a five-year-old. ~ Jean Kerr Awww...the butt sticking out the back of your gown is the best part! Guest guest
Wow, Rory, congratulations! You were one week ahead of me at Pacific Bariatrics and you've lost almost double what I've lost! Part of it is your " maleness " - you guys just lose faster that we do, but most of it is surely your hard work. I'm very impressed!
