Guest guest
I am sorry to hear about your lung. You are wise having everything checked from top to bottom. You will be in my prayers. He did a chest x-ray and sent me immediately for a CT scan of the chest. When I went in for my radiation treatment Tuesday, my radiation oncologist delivered the bad news that I have several nodules in my right lung, which is also the side of my mastectomy. I visited my oncologist Wednesday and today I went for a total body bone scan, Monday I have a CT of the abdomen and pelvis and then Wednesday an MRI of the brain..........no more nasty little surprises. I told him to scan me from top to bottom and then let's decide where to go from there. He told me about a clinical trial or two that I might be eligible for, so when I return to him a week from today, we shal see what he suggests. This has all happened so fast. I feel that my feet have been knocked out from under me, but I WILL GET THROUGH THIS. I have always been taught that everything happens for a reason. We may not see right now what God had planned, but there is a silver lining in this dark cloud somewhat. I ask that all of you please remember me in your prayers. I will do my best to keep you informed of what I find out in the next couple of weeks. Guest guest
I will keep you in my prayers - for sure!!! I have a couple of " spots " they are watching every 3 months as well. Is this the first scan you had, or did they scan you after your diagnosis? They found mine on the first scan go-around and my oncologist said that thousands of people have nodules and never even know about it for years. Because they scanned me to look for additional cancer, now they have to keep a watch on whatever they did find. Maybe nothing - maybe something early..... who knows. Sounds like you're keeping spirits up, which is great. Best of luck with all of your tests. Best!
