Guest guest
Here is what I found: Orbitotragial depth: Asymmetry of the orbitotragial depth is measured from the exocanthion (outer corner of the eye fissure where the eyelids meet) to the tragus (the cartilaginous projection in front of the external auditory canal). It sounds like this is specifically measuring the facial asymmetry (ear to eye). Our doctor didn't measure this way, so I'm not sure what is normal. The asymmetry measurement I'm more familiar with is when they measure the head at 30 degree angle and compare the two diagonals. What he is discussing is the facial and ear asymmetry and the forehead bossing. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but I'm not sure how to evaluate the information. -christine sydney 15 mo starband grad > > > > Hi, > > We are 4 days away from our first appt with Orthomerica and each day > > brings new questions, anxieties, worries etc... > > > > The background to my question is...the rude Cranial-Facial plastic > > surgeon we saw measured Lily's head the last time we saw him.
