Guest guest
Hi, Well it's exactly four weeks tomorrow until my band placement. I'm wondering if anyone has taken Prozac in conjunction with the operation. I am not overly depressed or anything, but i remember hearing somewhere that operations can make you feel pretty down, and when I'm down...I eat! I took prozac years ago for six weeks when I was finding it really difficult to get over a family member's death. It worked wonders for me and once i was out of the depths of despair, I went off it with no withdrawals. I'm wondering if i can get my doctor to prescribe it for me, I may become more determined for success and less likely to " give in " . What do you think? Steph. Guest guest
REGARDING PROZAC: I was on it for 11 years due to severe depression for my overweight condition. I was actually not allowed to take it for 2 weeks prior to surgery and haven't touched it since...and, I don't need it!!!!!!!!! P.S. Prozac takes 4 weeks to be absorbed into your system to effective. Success=Hope for the Best, Prepare for the Worst. Debi ---------- To: bandsters (AT) onelist (DOT) com Subject: Prozac!
