Guest guest
Anyone else heard or read about the possibility of AF being caused by elevated adrenalin levels? Apparently this kind of problem also leads to hormonal imbalances of various kinds. I've thought since I first developed the thing that there must be some root cause which ablations, great as they are, do not address. Thoughts anyone? Yes Sue I think increased adrenaline levels would very much contribute to afib, runs of pvc's, you name it. I don't know if you have MVP, mitral valve prolapse. Those of us with mitral valve prolapse know all about increased adrenaline because many of us have had panic disorder and panic attacks - I used to feel the adrenaline pour through me like a horrible poison. I can still get panicky but am able to short circuit it much better than I used to. The mitral valve will set off extra adrenaline in many of us. There are many books, tapes, courses, lots of information online if you google " panic disorder " to help work with your thoughts and body reactions when you feel uncomfortable.
