Hi Gang,

This lady wrote to me after seeing my website. She has s son that

needs microtia reconstruction and atresia surgery. Her letter she has

written to me follows.

As you can see she really needs some advice and support concerning

the insurance aspect and how to handle it.

thank you for answer my email, yes my son need a microtia surgery

also call

reconstruction of the ear my insurance denied the request for the

surgery

because the doctor john REINISCH lived and work in Los Angeles

children's

hospital and they said is out of Florida State, and others doctors in

Tampa,

Florida can do the surgery but these doctors said my son need to wait

until

he;s 7 years old but dr. john reinisch can do the surgery now because

he used

a medpor material to build the ear we search around since my son

born ,and

the use of the rib to build the ear take five different surgeries

and the

results are very poor ,we are pretty sure dr reisinsch is the right

doctor

for our son I spoke with few parents after their children's surgery

and

they very happy and i saw pictures.and the results are are excellent

and they

just need two surgeries, and also I investigate about dr. reisnisch ,

these

parents lived in California and they didn't have to pay a penny for

the

surgery because they lived in California and MEDICAL pay for

everything but

my case is different because they won;t cover the surgery for my son

because

we lived in Florida of course,in the present time my son have.. a

delay in

the speech and language and the insurance doesn't want to cover the

therapy

either and in order to open the ear canal he need to have the

reconstruction

surgery of the ear first I was paying insurance for nothing and I

feel

desperate because of my situation I willing to sell my car but won't

be

enough for the surgery and I looking for some help I try the shrines

but is

nothing they can do for my son, please let me know if you can provide

me with
