Guest guest
It is tough....I stay because being 20 months post op I am at a point where maintaining is soooo hard. Ive been gaining recently and am totally fed up with myself. Im exercising like crazy but I know I am snacking a little more. So I take responsibility. Part of it is muscle weight but part of it is grazing. Especially Starbucks. So I stay and vent in here, relearn from the pre and newly post ops and try to help others as I was. I would absolutely love a girls night out Pascha!!!!! Huggles > > > > > > Hi... > > > > > > > > > > > > Does anyone know how is doing? Guest guest
I always tell newbies to enjoy the honeymoon period, when the weight just falls off, because that's the easiest part of this journey. I'm almost two years out (06/30) and believe me, maintenance is WAY harder than the surgery ever was. I had a hard time redefining success after I stopped losing. To help me stay on track, I graph my daily weight. (Can you tell I'm obsessive/compulsive?) As long as the line is more or less horizontal, I try to be satisfied. If it starts to creep up though, it's a visual cue to be more mindful of what I've been doing (or not doing) lately.
