For those who have the disorder, the two upper chambers of the heart quiver instead of beating effectively. Blood is not completely pumped out of the chambers and can form pools, putting those with atrial fibrillation at risk of blood clots and strokes. As a resident of the Chicago area, I was hoping that there would be something about Chicago-area doctors doing this procedure.
