Guest guest
I am 6 days Post OP fron a Lap BPD/DS. I have no pain except the dule ache on the inside, (it feels like I did 400 situps). My questions are probably typical, please excuse me if they have been asked before. Why do many become lactose intolerant? Will it change again? Are there extremes of lactose intolerant, to different foods? Milk Butter Yogurt etc. I feel uncomfortable during a meal, like the pain is from where the new connections were made. Any thoughts, how long will it last. Why is toast OK, but not bread? 2.26.01 Lap BPD/DS Dr. Gagner 224lbs 3.3.01 203 lbs.
Guest guest
I found this site helpful when I realised that I was intolerant about 7 days post-op. I drink lactose free milk and skip the yogurt and cottage cheese for now. I tolerate regular cheese pretty well. As for toast, I assume it's because the bread can swell in your stomach and toast gets soggy. ~Hugs~ Pat ************** Post-Op!!
